Head of Experience & Solution Design

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

As Head of Experience & Solution Design, your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and roll out the Experience & Solution Design division strategy in alignment with business goals & Speos strategic objectives.
  • Translate this strategy into IT policies, standards, and best practices related to your domain, that you develop, implement, and enforce.
  • Build, lead and inspire a team of professionals, providing guidance through continuous feedback, mentorship, and support to foster their growth and development.
  • Prioritize and put high value subjects on the agenda to accelerate and make the greatest impact towards the realization of the strategic roadmap.
  • Establish clear goals and objectives for the team and the individuals, aligned with Speos mission and vision.
  • Follow-up on the individual and collective performance to ensure individual productivity, quality of deliverables, and overall performance.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, inclusion and open communication.
  • Ensure operational excellence through system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Plan and manage the division budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Manage the relationship with external technology vendors to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Act as a driver in the organizational evolution of Speos, for own teams as well as for other stakeholders, in order to ensure strategic objectives are reached.
  • Construct bridges with other departments to foster collaboration outside of your division and department.
  • Support innovation by testing ideas for continuous improvement and keeping an open mind towards future technology needs and trends.
  • Monitor and mitigate IT-related risks, including cybersecurity threats.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and IT governance standards. 

Profile

  • Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT, with People management, Change management, Ideally within a digital commercial context.
  • Experience in transitioning from a project-based to a product-based organization is a strong asset.
  • Proven team leadership and coaching capabilities (leading and training a team of approx. 8 FTE) with impactful communication style. Strategic thinker with helicopter view and conceptual vision.
  • Prince 2, PMI, Agile and change management methodologies experience are a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of ICT architecture (cloud computing, IT security, and IT project management etc.) with the ability to challenge technical teams constructively.
  • Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus).
