Technical Supervisor


You are responsible for carrying out technical projects, such as the implementation of new technologies, new tools or specific projects delegated by the Technical Coordinator.

You also provide training for technicians, to increase their level of knowledge and skills.

Finally, you provide support to production according to the needs and ensure the planning of preventive maintenance.

Your responsibilities

As Technical Supervisor (Team Leader), your responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage, coach, and motivate your team of technicians to achieve production and maintenance objectives (feedback, encouragement, mentoring, etc.).
  • Define roles and responsibilities within the team.
  • Identify training needs & coordinate training.
  • Encourage skills development.
  • Plan the team’s daily, weekly, and monthly tasks based on priorities and deadlines.
  • Ensure technicians have the necessary resources, including spare parts (and tools).
  • Develop maintenance schedules to optimize productivity, carry out maintenance inspections.

But also as a technical expert:

  • Provide technical expertise to solve complex problems
  • Encourage the team to identify the root causes of problems and propose lasting solutions
  • Implement improvements based on failure analysis (Plan&Trackj) and maintenance data
  • Contact the machine manufacturer if the breakdown is beyond the knowledge of the speos technical service
  • Work in collaboration with technicians and other experts (internal and external) to research and provide solutions
  • Take part in carrying out production testing or other possible tests

As a Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation & suggestions for improvements from your team members.




As Technical Supervisor, you have:

  • An industrial engineering diploma.
  • A first convincing experience in a similar function.
  • A technical expertise: Knowledge of electronics is an asset.
  • Relevant experience in people management: Team management, Coaching, team motivation.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English

And you are also:

  • A very good communicator, who can convey messages.
  • Able to make decisions.
  • A good analyst capable of solving problems.
