At speos, our Human Resources department has evolved in a new People & Organization team. Their mission? To be a trusted business partner for all speos managers and employees – supporting collective and individual wellbeing, development, and performance – and helping the company achieve its strategic objectives. Always with a people-first mindset.
The shift to People & Organization (P&O) reflects speos’ ambition to be a leading player in managing financial and administrative communication flows in a digital world. Speos is rapidly evolving, driven by initiatives and transformations that are guiding us toward a product-oriented organization. As the needs of our business and employees evolve, our HR approach is changing in the same direction. We aim to support our people in their professional growth and to guide speos through its organizational transformation. That’s why we’ve rebranded HR as P&O.
From onboarding to personal development
People management at speos revolves around two key aspects. On the one hand, we aim to build productive, efficient, and cohesive teams; on the other, we actively support and encourage personal development. Our people managers play a crucial role in achieving both.
To keep our employees engaged and motivated, the P&O team is committed to providing an efficient service but also and above all, the support people need to feel valued and recognized in their work. This begins right from the onboarding phase, with personalized and regular interactions that help new colleagues feel at home.
On their first day, every new employee feels comfortable thanks to a warm welcome, a clear agenda, and a direct integration with an official lunch with their team. Through our speos Academy, new joiners can discover all departments and even take part in a three-day internship in production. After six months, a follow-up interview helps evaluate their experience and development.
To support further growth, P&O develops each year a structured training plan aligned with the company’s strategic priorities, including collective as well as individual training opportunities tailored to specific needs.
Dynamic workspaces
To promote work-life balance and mental wellbeing, speos has launched a variety of initiatives. We’ve recently redesigned our workspaces to create a dynamic office environment, complete with social areas, coffee corners, and recreation zones. In addition, work hours offer some flexibility, and whenever possible, employees can work from home for up to two days per week.
We also provide training for managers and teams on topics such as collaboration, feedback, and wellbeing. And since everyone needs time to recharge, we encourage sports activities among colleagues and organize two personnel parties each year.
Our ambitions for the future
The People & Organization (P&O) team has set several priorities for the years ahead, structured around three key building blocks. First, we aim to put the human dimension at the heart of our concerns and foster talent development. Second, we strive to design an attractive value proposition, with clear policies and efficient digital services. And finally, we seek to create a work environment that encourages agility, wellbeing, performance, and long-term team commitment.
Speos has great ambitions and places great value on human connections to reach them. P&O provides the foundation that keeps us on track, because when something affects one person at speos, it resonates throughout the entire organization.
