Junior Analyst

Job Responsibilities

As IT Junior Analyst, your responsibilities will be to:

Data Mapping and Transformation:

Define data mapping rules and transformation logic for efficient integration of data from diverse sources.
Clean, enrich, and harmonize data to ensure optimal quality and usability.

ETL (Extract, Transform, Load):

Build and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses or databases.

Data Quality Assurance:

Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to identify and rectify issues during integration.

Data Pipeline Development:

Create and manage automated data pipelines for seamless movement and transformation of data.

API Integration:

Integrate data from external sources and third-party APIs, ensuring data consistency and managing connections.

Data Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Implement monitoring and alerting systems to identify and resolve integration issues promptly.
Act as level 2 support for integration-related client queries.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the project team and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide integrated data solutions.

Security and Compliance:

Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, especially when handling sensitive or regulated data.

Performance Tuning:

Continuously monitor and optimize data integration processes for efficiency and resource optimization.

Stay Informed:

Keep up to date with emerging data integration technologies and best practices to ensure our processes remain current and efficient.

Profile

As Junior IT Analyst, you have:

A bachelor or master degree in IT or related field.
Very good command in French/Dutch and English.
Good knowledge and experience in CSV, XML, EDIFACT or any other industry-standard document formats for business operations.
Power-user level knowledge in Linux, Windows.
Scripting languages skills (Bash, Groovy, PowerShell).
Knowledge in Transfer protocols (SFTP, AS2).
An ability to versioning in Git.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
Ability to create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

And you also are:

Able to stay updated on industry trends.
Able to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools quickly.
Details oriented to ensure accuracy in data processing.
A good problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot EDI issues. Collaboration: Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of basic SQL database concepts and its management.
