Software Engineer

Responsibilities

As Software Engineer, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Analyze, develop, test, maintain, fix, write supporting document of customer solutions and Speos Administrative solutions.
  • Review and improve existing code.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the Client Application Development.
  • Provide 2nd level support, identify root-causes & resolution, respect support procedures.
  • Resolve Malfunctions, Bugs, Deploying Fixes.
  • Provide technical coaching and guidance to Service Managers & Coordinators.
  • Participate in the creation and validation of functional documentation of a project.
  • Take the lead in the creation and validation of technical documentation of a project.
  • Build solutions according to agreed specifications, within speos standards & guidelines.
  • Test & deploying solutions based on pre-defined acceptance criteria and procedures.

Profile

As Software Engineer, you have:

  • A bachelor degree in IT or equivalent by experience
  • Very good command in French or Dutch and English
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • Java & Spring Boot: Intermediate – Building and deploying enterprise applications
    • JavaScript/TypeScript: Beginner – Basic development
    • SQL: Basic – Writing queries
  • Tools & Platforms:
    • Git & GitLab: Intermediate – Version control and CI/CD
    • APIs & Testing: Postman – API development and testing
    • IDEs: IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code, UltraEdit – Efficient coding environments
    • Databases: DB2, MariaDB, MongoDB – Querying
    • AWS: Beginner – Basic cloud deployment
    • Project Management: Jira, Confluence – Task management and documentation
    • Remote Computing: MobaXterm, SSH, SFTP

 

  • Preferred:
    • Quadient® Inspire Designer & Inspire Content Manager: Experience is a plus
    • Visual Basic: Basic – Maintaining legacy services

And you also are
