Technical Supervisor

Your responsibilities:

As Technical Supervisor (Team Leader), your responsibilities will be to :

  • Manage, coach and motivate your team of technicians to achieve production and maintenance targets (feedback, encouragement, mentoring, etc.).
  • Define roles and responsibilities within the team.
  • Identify training needs & coordinate training.
  • Encourage skills development.
  • Plan the team’s daily, weekly and monthly tasks according to priorities and deadlines.
  • Ensure that technicians have the necessary resources, including spare parts (and tools).
  • Drawing up maintenance schedules to optimise productivity, carrying out maintenance inspections.

But also as a technical expert:

  • Provide technical expertise to solve complex problems
  • Encourage the team to identify the root causes of problems and propose sustainable solutions
  • Implement improvements based on failure analysis (Plan&Trackj) and maintenance data
  • Contact the machine manufacturer if the fault is beyond the knowledge of the speos technical department
  • Work with technicians and other experts (internal and external) to find and provide solutions
  • Take part in production start-up tests and any other tests that may be required.

As Technical Supervisor, you will be expected to promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation & suggestions for improvement from your team members.

Profile

As Technical Supervisor, you will have :

  • An industrial engineering degree.
  • Proven initial experience in a similar role.
  • Technical expertise: knowledge of electronics is an asset.
  • Relevant experience in people management: team management, coaching, team motivation.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English.

And you are also :

  • A very good communicator, who can get messages across.
  • A good decision-maker.
  • A good problem-solver.
